| I have a column that is set to VARCHAR 1 and want to change it to NUMERIC 5,2 Is this possible or am I barking up the wrong tree?Cheers,Gary |

It is possible, if all the present values in that particular column can be converted or translated to datatype numeric(5, 2).Otherwise it is not possible.
