| My friend,You are creating a error log file, you are creating a report file. In this report file you come to know tha Job got success or faillure and the extention of the file is to be .txt. I guess you are assuming this to be "an error log file".Please let me know, is this you are looking for.ManojMCP, MCTS |

| Are you talking about jobs created through maintenance plan? Like write a report to text file. |
