| I have a small doubt .Truncate is not a logged operation. In log shipping if we perform any truncate operation on the primary server will its get reflected on the secondary server. |

Truncate is a partially logged operation. The page deallocations are logged in the transaction log rather than the row deletes. Since the page deallocations are logged, a truncate can be rolled back and it can be redone from the restore of a transaction log backup. There should be no issues with log shipping, though, as always, test in your own environment.--Gail Shaw |
