| I tried the following, 1. Created a INSTEAD OF TRIGGER for INSERT 2. In the trigger, I have written a sql which inserts data in the same table3. When I do the INSERT on the table the data in the trigger gets inserted 4. | Yes. INSTEAD OF triggers are never recursive.e4 d5 xd5 Nf6 |

| I have a seeing eye dog that went to night school to learn how to type. Works pretty well, though without opposable thumbs he relies upon me to hit the space bar with the tip of my cane.Woof.e4 d5 xd5 Nf6 |
