hi
i have a problem of coonecting.i need to study to my lesson on University
but i cant connect to my sql server.im using Database Engine but there is no Server Name above the Database Engine.
my server name should be thraine\sqlexpress but it doesnt work !
the error is
(provider:SQL Network interfaces ,error : 26- Error Locating Server/Instance Specified(Microsoft SQL Server)

its about computer name and just simple connecting and i need to use my computer name for connect to sql.
Server Type:Database Engine
Server Name:thraine\sqlexpress
it should be connect but i get an error !

i have a diffrent error msg
No Sql Server 2005 component were found on the spesific computer !

i guess yes
but like a default install ,i chose all programs and next
whene i install the sql there wasnt any advance options !
