SURE, there is going to be performance issues if you save images into the Database Directly.the column type should be a BLOB Type varbinary(MAX) (SQL 2005).Cannot thet Just Store the Images at another location just a link/path to these images in the Database.Which Edition are we talking about. STANDARD / ENT.how much RAM/Processors etc(HARDWARE).List the Things and i we can discuss.Maninder

1. We cann't save images to another location (no link method will be used). We have to save images in Database Directly.2. Enterprise Edition will be used3. Clint is ready to purchase Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® Processor (2.33 GHz (2U passive, 8M Cache, 1333 MHz FSB) 4GB RAM4. We have to replicate our images data between (Upto 100 nodes) ???

REPlicate = copy the Database or is it in REplication or send the Results to clients. What is the size of the Database.Sure, if you save a million Images in the Database, it is going to get a performance hit at a Point in time. What is the Datatype used to store BLOB.Maninder
