I'm running Microsoft SQL server Management Express against my remote ISP's SQL 2000. It's been working fine for some time but I'm getting a problem with the connection but only with the Query window - there is no problem with Object Explorer connecting. When I click the "New Query" button "Disconnected" appears at the bottom of the query window and no query will run. If I try to force a connection with the Query drop-down Menu "Connection" entry, I get " Object not set to an instance of an object ", without any clue as to which object. The Object Explorer is still connected. Any ideas? |

I was just going to add that queries are running okay through ADO.Net with the same user/password. |
