| Hello - I used techniques from this site (http://vyaskn.tripod.com/server_side_tracing_in_sql_server.htm)to create a server-side trace file. It worked great..as far as creating the file. But now I cannot open the file in the SQL Profiler...I get an Acess Denied message. Has anyone see this before? Thanks for any help - will |

| you need to STOP the Tace to open it.. Else you are going to get Errors.exec sp_trace_setstatus @traceid=1, @status=0 - STOP Traceyou need to Figure out the TRACE ID by Select * from ::fn_trace_getinfo(DEFAULT)exec sp_trace_setstatus @traceid=1, @status=2 - Delete traceManinderSQL server Architect / Admin (DEV&PROD) |
