| I have read all about Processor vs. Server Plus User CALs Licensing Model, and I know MS recommends the Processor model for public web sites, but what exactly is considered a "User" for licensing purposes? Our web application essentially uses one login to access the database, even though many different users are accessing the application, with their logins handled logically by the application. I'd like to get by without the expense of the Processor license. So is the "User", the SQL Server user, a Windows user, an IP address, or what? Any help is much appreciated, so thank you in advance. |
