Hi All,
I have a clustered active/passive server that had a default instance, today we installed another named instance. after that i am seeing strange behavior in surface area configuration

I 100% remember that when ever i wanted look at surface area configuration, i used to logon to the active node in the cluster and select "surface area configuration" from the menu options, and then click on the computername, select the remote computer option and enter my VirtualServerName(for the default instance), and it used to open up properly.

After i installed the named instance today, strangely when ever i try to enter any of the virtualservernames for the "remote computer option" it is giving me a message

"Computer <virtualservername> does not exist in the network, or the computer cannot be configured remotely. Verify that the remote computer has the required Windows Management Instrumentation Components and then try again"

I am not sure why this message is appearing. Can somebody please help.

One more thing: If i try to access surface area configuration from my machine(desktop), it works fine. I am able to enter each of the virtualservernames and am able to see the surface area components screen.
