Friends :

How to migrate DTS to ssis packages which is having Activex Scripts.

today i migrated lot of packages but some packages are having activex scripts which is getting error when i execute it on SSIS.

Please adivse and provide me steps

You will have to rewrite in Script task.

You mean we need to rewrite the activex script in sql server 2005.

Is there any tool that will convert.

Especially for Activexscript which points to Object model(Com object).

You can use Dts xchange

Eventually you will have to rewrite all the DTS into SSIS.
Did you check all the connections after migration.
ActiveX Scripts will be created as a new object in SSIS version of DTS.
When making the upgrade, you will need to determine how you will manage these legacy DTS packages in the future.
The ActiveX Script might be making references to DTS Properties, which are not valid in SSIS.

So could you please suggests me what steps do i need to do.

!, Rewrite Activex scripts.

or

2, Implementing tool. ( where i can download this DTSXchange tool)
using this tool do i need to remigrate those packages which are having activex scripts.

please advise

Yes you have rewrite it with script task or For/Each loop container.
