I have a backup device which contains 2 backup sets. I am able to restore the first backup set, but when I try to restore the second backup set, I am unable to do this. I have selected the second backup set after I select the backup device, but when I go to the Options section which contains the original filename and the restore as, it is pointing to the database from the first backup set, and I am unable to change the origal filename. If I point the restore as to the database file which I am trying to restore, the restore does not go through as it says that the file is not a part of that database. What am I doing wrong ?

Just use the RESTORE DATABASE command. To specify the second backup set, use WITH FILE = 2.
