Hi Gurus,

If i want a linkserever to PASS THROUGH authentication what sholud i check under security tab ?

Secutiry tab has following options.

Not to made
Be made without using security context
Be made using login's current security contesxt
Be nmde using this security context

I guess Be made without using security context

But ia m not sure.

Can someone help me on this ?

We mostly use the last options as it always works.

If same sql login exists on linked server, you can choose 'Be made using login's current security contesxt'.
