We use "Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Edition (64-bit)" version "9.00.3233.00" for aprox. 2 years. And today, when I add domain user to "Security" in "Analysis Server Properties" and click [ OK ] button is only show this error message: TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio------------------------------Errors in the metadata manager. LOG file extension can be only .LOG.Errors in the metadata manager. An error occurred while setting the value for the 'ConfigurationSettings\Log\File' configuration property. (Microsoft.AnalysisServices)------------------------------BUTTONS:OK------------------------------ And in EventLog is about this next record: |Event Date |6.8.2008||Event Time |14:51:30||Event Type |Error||Event Source |MSSQLServerOLAPService||Event ID |28||Event Category |(289)||Event User |N/A||Event Computer |SRV-SEENS||Event Description |Failed to load server config file: setting ConfigurationSettings\Log\File containing value=%2 is incorrect. Use msmdsrv.bak to restore msmdsrv.ini.| But when I used "msmdsrv.bak to restore msmdsrv.ini" problem still persists.Where is problem?I use "Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Edition (64-bit)" version "9.00.3233.00" on "Windows Server" version "2003, R2, Standard Edition, SP2" [5.2.3790] on "Fujitsu-Siemens PRIMERGY TX200 S3". |
