| Hello All,When i take a look at the "page life expectancy" counter for SQL, i see that it is constantly at 90seconds. I read somewhere that this is not normal becuase it means that it is writing to the disk too often. Is this really the case? They tell me that it should be no less than 300, the higher the better. I have a SQL 2005 ENT Cluster running on two 2950's with Dual quad cores and 16 GB of RAM. I have set the Max RAM in SQL to 12888MB to leave the OS with 4GB. Any ideas if my settings are correct and if i should be worried about the page life expectancy counter? Thanks!Eddie FernandezIT DirectorMTech |

| Basically, you need more memory to keep data in buffer longer. |
