Hi Gurus,

I want to drop one database and repliction related to this datadase.

After dropping i want to check as no objects in other databases and server is refreing this droped database.

How can i check this.

I am trying to check this by running trace with Texttype as database name as column filters.

Please let me know if i am going in right way.

If not please correct me..

Thanks,

Hi,

Before u drop a database which is replicated, drop all the publication and subscriptions corresponding to it.

If the replication is dropped the hand symbol will not be present.
Then u can drop the database.

Also before dropping replication u need to take the list of tables that are replicated and then drop the publication, article and subscription

This is fine in case of replication.

But how can i check as this database is not used as reference in any object.

I mean to say as in cross servers.

Thanks,

Only I think is to track with SQL profiler before you drop
Or use third party tools to find cross-server as well:

How can you proceed when database is offline? Wait for some time to see somebody is on top of your head.
