I doubt that this is an interview question as it would be pointless to ask this.

From BOL:
quote:

Database objects include objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, user-defined functions, triggers, rules, defaults, and constraints. The sum of the number of all objects in a database cannot exceed 2,147,483,647.

What you have described is a bad design.

well if you dont know answer then pls dont give your irrelated comments.without looking my application how can you say its bed design..well i already told you its nothing with design..bcz there is no user activity, its only cache tables.and those tables will be deleted after 2 days by our cleanup script.my application create 500 tables within 24 hrs..but we dont know that how many tables it will going to create.so thats why i want to know, how many tables you can create in one database.

thanks...
