I just installed SS2005 and I'm lost. I'm used to using ss2000. I'm looking for Query Analyzer and Enterprise Manager.

I did all my coding in QA but if i wanted to check my tables quickly i would go to EM with a few clicks. Is it under SQL Server Configuration Manager now? I don't see the master table or anything.

Are all my SS2000 books going to be useless?

The replacement to both is Management Studio, although you can still use Query Analyzer with 2005 servers. You can't use Enterprise Manager with 2005 servers though.

The books are never useless!! The main core is the same! The master DB you can see it by clicking the databases then click system Databases. You can still use these books but have a look at these two sites which are part 1 on http://www.sqlservercentral.com/articles/Administration/2988/ and part 2 on http://www.sqlservercentral.com/articles/News/3036/
