| As far as excel file security is concerned "Everyone" has read rights on iti have added "everyone" in the security tab of Excel file and given it read rightsI am not sure how can i give SQL ID rights on a Excel filewhen i give this SQL ID sysadmin rights on SQL Server then it is able to access linked serverso the problem seems to be of insufficient rights on SQL Server and not on excel filePlease advice. |
