Can you create scheduled jobs in Express edition? Would like to know of any limitations that anyone has hit with Express. Thanks.

No, as express editions dont have the SQL Server agent.

However there is a 1st class article on how you can implement other scheduling functions in the express versions here

Limitations ? see

good luck

Thanks for that Afrika. Are you aware of SQL Express Advanced? It has full-text indexing which presumably redoes the catalogs periodically which sort-of implies a scheduler.
