Dear friends,

I'm a coldfusion programmer, Since now I've been using MS Access as my Backend, but now I planned to switch to MS-SQL Server.I've Designed and Developed my Data base, But I don't know how to connect SQL based database through ODBC. Please help me by trouble shooting...help will be appreciated.

Thank you

First, you should use OLE DB, not ODBC for your connection. Secondly, I assume you're trying to do something like ASP development. The 4guysfromrolla.com site has a lot of articles on this.

Yes dear its true, Cold Fusion is like ASP only...and I'm doing it using MS-Access only. So planning to improve upon handling large database. Anyway thanks a lot for providing me with the hint. And I check the resource you provided me with. :D
