| I have a basic rdl file that uses stored procedure and correctly prompts for the parameter that I want to use. But the formatting and expressions are competely basic. I have a more complex rdl file that was converted from crystal that I want to set up the same data source and parameter for as the report above and when I do that, and I try to preview the report I get errors saying 'the tablix 'tabledataregion1'refers to an invalid dataset name, dataset 1' a company did the conversion and set up a datasource called 'katie' (which i have no idea what that is) and datasource 'katie' has MANY MANY fields set up under dataset properties but I want to use datasource 1 which is a SQL data source that runs my stored procedure, this datasource and dataset have NO fields defined. Is there a way to use both--even though the katie datasource should not be defined or DO i have to create all those fields under the datasource I want to use? Is anyone familiar with converting rpt files to rdl files enough to assist me with the remaining conversion of this report?I have no idea if Im even asking the right questions... |
