Hi Friends,

I am using SQL Server 2000 Evaluation product for learning purpose. I am having two problem.

1. I am not able to Import/Export from other sources. It says sp_msgetversion stored procedure not found.

2. Is it possible to apply the Service Pack on Evaluation Product

Thanks in advance

From what I can find on Microsoft's web site (http://www.microsoft.com/sql/) the Evaluation Edition has the same functionality as the Enterprise Edition, with the exception that it will expire in 120 days. If sp_msgetversion cannot be found, perhaps you should try installing the software again.

I would assume that you COULD install the service packs on the Evaluation Product, but is it really necessary to do so on a product that will expire in 120 days?

I downloaded the evaluation and I have problem apply sp2. It just says you couldn't install it because it's a evaluation. I also have problem installing commerce server 2k. It says MSCS_admin can not be login (or something like that) Could some one tell me how to go around this problem? I have tried patches and try to locate downloads but have not had any lock with it. Please help
