| From what I can find on Microsoft's web site (http://www.microsoft.com/sql/) the Evaluation Edition has the same functionality as the Enterprise Edition, with the exception that it will expire in 120 days. If sp_msgetversion cannot be found, perhaps you should try installing the software again.I would assume that you COULD install the service packs on the Evaluation Product, but is it really necessary to do so on a product that will expire in 120 days?--------------------------------------------------------------1000 Posts, Here I come! | I downloaded the evaluation and I have problem apply sp2. It just says you couldn't install it because it's a evaluation. I also have problem installing commerce server 2k. It says MSCS_admin can not be login (or something like that) Could some one tell me how to go around this problem? I have tried patches and try to locate downloads but have not had any lock with it. Please help |
