Hello,

I have been asked to setup a procedure to send out reminder emails based on a date in one of my Tables. I do not want to do this in my .net application and was wondering if there is a way of doing it in Sql Server. So at 23:00 send out an email for all dates that are due in 5 days from todays date.

Is that possible?

Thanks for your help, I appreciate it.

Best Regards,

Steve Wilson.

In SQL 2000, look at xp_sendmail. You need to set up a mail profile for the database and you will need to set up a job to run at 23:00.
