I have a question that i tried alot on internet but couldn't get yet, I have a machine with 3 instances of sql 2000, one instance is default while other named isntance. I run serverproperty command with diff. parameter that gives me the report that only default sql instance is having sp4 while other 2 named instances shows RTM (Release To Manufacturing). What i am considering that named instances are not upgraded to sp4, what do u suggest me do I install sp4 to each instance of sql ? And explain a bit more about RTM, I am also considering regarding RTM is the default installation, confirm plz. |

RTM is Release to Market without any Service packs . Isn't it overload to put 3 instances of SQL Server in 1 Server? You should upgrade them to sp4 as well. |
