| I have a SQL Server 2000, service pack 4, database server and I have a database backup file on an external hard drive. The external hard drive is using a USB connection. I was wondering if it is possible to use query analyzer to restore the database from a backup file on an external hard drive. |

As long as the usb drive has a drive letter, it should be possible.
