beside downloading from microsoft, does it include in any of the retail SQL Server Software? like SQL Server 2005 Standard or Developer etc?

I don't understand your question. Are you asking if you can buy the software in a store or just somewhere besides Microsoft's site?

sorry. what i am trying to mean is, if i buy retail software like SQL Server 2005 Standard or Enterprise,etc, will the disc include SQL Server 2005 Express as well?

My disks don't include it. Just download Express from the Microsoft site.

so in order for me to use back the old instance name which is used by SQL 2000 in the same machine, i supposed have to uninstall it and install with SQL 2005 again?

is there any way to upgrade directly from SQL Developer 2000 to SQL 2005 Express?
