Hank Gross writes "I am new to SQL. My boss has asked me to determine if one of our servers has been active. It is running SQL7.0. How can I tell when the last time anyone accessed the 2 user created databases? I don't know how to do that.

I don't think there is any way to do that directly.

You can see current activity under the 'management' folder in Enterprise Manager, or you could set up a profiler trace.

If you are logging successful logins, you can see if anyone has logged in by looking at the error log, or the security event log.
