| hi allI have 210 db in the existing sql 2000, and we are in plan to migrate to a new server with same setup.. pl let me advise to setting up the sql 2000 in a proper way i.e right from the installation setting and what setting would be advisable.thanks in advancegrkravi |

| Probably the same settings as you have on your old SQL box as any other set up may cause issues.I would suggest a migration to SQL 2005 at least, but this will be a larger project than simply moving the databases. |
