Dear All,

I have an SQL server 2000 installed on a shared storage of a Cluster Server, the OS is Window Server 2000. Two acive/passive nodes resides in the cluster.

A backup solution (Veritas)takes backup of the SQL Databases at each end of day.

On the next day, when you try to log into the application, it gives you an ODBC timout. If I switch the cluster server nodes, it works! But on the next day it fails. Is it possible that the backup solution disconnects the active connection? Or not?

Please advise.
Thanks.
