| Hi Friends,I want to learn SQL SERVER 2000.First I want to download the software.I googled "DOWNLOAD FREE SQL SERVER 2000".and I found this free download MSDE2000A.exeMy question is > is the software above the right one to download?are DESKTOP ENGINES behaves the same as the SERVER ENGINE?What I mean is if I learn all the command is DE they are also applicableto SERVER EDITION.Can you suggest what is the right installer to use, and the link to free download?Thanks a lot to all of youPs. what is a profile signature :) and how is it used or what is its importance?What do u mean by subscribe to this topic?kris |

| That is the correct file for the SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine version. This version is somewhat limited on backend functionality, but the tools are almost identical so it's a great tool to use to learn sql. Otherwise try the full trial versions of sql 2000. |
