Hallo
i have a production database whose full and diff backups are written into seven file devices, one a day, which are stored on a network share.
Restore runs fine.
When I try to restore them on a server running in a different computer, I'm getting a "Cannot verify the esistence of the backup file location. Do you want to use the backup file location anyway?" yes/no messsage. The device, as seen from other servers, contains no backup sets.
SQL Agents of both the servers are running under the same domain account, with R/W permission on the network share.

Run RESTORE FILELISTONLY on the devices rather than using the GUI. What does it show?

Hallo Tara, thanks for the reply: I tried, and the result was the same.
So I went deeper into investigation and found out that permissions on the share have been changed...
So issue regarded nothing but permissions.
