Greetings All,I am trying to explore SQLDMO, I know it's now deprecated. There is a field that i have come across in SQLDMO>Registry, called as NumberOfProcessors. There is very little information as to what it represents. MSDN says "The NumberOfProcessors property returns the number of CPUs available to Microsoft SQL Server on the server."On default installation of MSSQL 2000 on a DUAL CORE machien, DMO returns it a 2 processors. On the server properties page, when I uncheck the Processor Affinity and IO Affinity(also restarted the sqlserver), DMO still shows the NumberOfProcessors as 2. Are they two not related? Is there any other way to get the same thing as SQLDMO by any other method? Thanks in advance.Samrat Patil |
