I have a report which has the normal textboxes for data in a line and then a textbox on a new line which stretches the entire length of the other textboxes and has dashes as its value. No matter how narrow I make this long textbox (the dashes are top aligned), the space between lines is too great. Help me with this, please.Duane |

why use textbox for this? you can add a line instead for this if your intention is to show just a line. |

another way is to change the border style to bold and making color as black. |

Thanks for the replies - I am just inheriting the job from someone else. And I am new at this and have not even found out how to add a line yet. I keep getting an error message stating that I can't add a line to that area of the report.Duane |

are you trying to do this in report body? then what you can try is to make border solid. |
