Author  Topic  fbaraka Starting Member 5 Posts Posted - 2009-07-13 : 03:41:00 hello i have standalone sql 2008 entreprise edition with default instance sqldef and second instance inst2 in the same computer. i'am trying to configure merge web replication, sqldef as publisher and inst2 as soubscriber. when i try from subscriber to view snchronization status, i receive this error "the remote server sqldef doesnot exist, or has not been designated as a valid publisher or maz not have permission to see available publishers". every server has an ip configuration, shared memory and tcp ip are enabled, the folder repldata has everyone full control for testing...has anzone an idea thanks
