I've got an SBS2003 box. Somewhere down the line there was an installation corruption. Any updates for both SQL 2005 and SQL 2000 install but are not reflected in the running instance. Essentially, Management Studio shows the previous version of the the database 9.0.4022, 8.0.2055 etc..Add to that .. in add/remove there is no option to remove or change (the instance).So I am curios if I can run the MS installer clean up and then reinstall both SQL 2005 and SQL 2000 MSDE .. or will it create a nightmare trying to put everything back together.... |
