| Can anyone tell me if any tables in the articles of publication are locked during a synchronization of a merge replication? |

| Row level locking happens on update command by merge agent. Table level lock happens only in the initial time, when we setup the merge replication.Thanks,Krishnawww.SQLServer.in |
