I'm looking for some software to create a wiki for internal use. I would prefer SQL Server as a back end (or postgres if absolutely neccessary). Cost is also a significant factor (i.e. it has to be free) which suggests open source or similar, given that is the case I would prefer it to be .net preferably vb.net as it would then be easier to integrate with the rest of the infrastructure.Anyone have any experience of running a wiki or any suggestions of what to look at? What are the pro's and con's you have come across?thanks in advancesteve-----------Deja Moo - The feeling you've heard the same bull before. |

I can't answer your question but I can't resist to say that "Deja Moo" is real cool No, you're never too old to Yak'n'Roll if you're too young to die. |

Hee hee thanks, sadly I can't claim the credit for it.For posterity and should anyone else be interested we ended up relaxing some of our requirements. The one that is looking like the favourite is http://info.tikiwiki.org/tiki-index.php. It has a few features that we dont currently need but some interest has been shown in them in the past. It looks as though modules can be added latersteve-----------Deja Moo - The feeling you've heard the same bull before. |
