Yet another problem with the same report that I've posted in another thread! This time the client is running the report within report manager but when they try to print they get:Error: Object doesn't support this property or methodThey did not have this issue previously and it is effecting all their reports. A colleague has suggested that they perhaps require an update of some sort? Many thanks. |

Can I ask what changed between when it worked and when it stopped? Can you revert to a previous version of the report?Sounds like something was added/changed on the report the may not be compatible...JohnIt's a small world (but I wouldn't want to paint it) |

The report actually hasn't been changed but I think it's something to do with a Windows Update, but as the report is on a clients server I cannot check. I've searched Google and others have experienced the same issue and have resolved it by uninstalling a specific Windows update. |

Are you getting the same error as the users? If you think it is a windows update I would start with the most recent .Net service pack. If your Network Admins allow it, you should be able to go to control panel, add/remove software and select Show Updates at the top. I see one installed for me October 16 for .Net Framework 2 (KB974417). I have no new updates for .Net 3.0 SP2 or 3.5 SP1.Good luck...JohnIt's a small world (but I wouldn't want to paint it) |

I just had a wild idea... If the report is not too complex, can you rebuild and get different results? I had wierd errors once before and I rebuilt the report and when I copied various bits from the header and footer (One by One then test) I found there was an embedded image that was not displaying from a rectangle in my header. It was brute force but I found it...JohnIt's a small world (but I wouldn't want to paint it) |

Another place to look... Under Report Properties, select Code. Is there anything referenced there?JohnIt's a small world (but I wouldn't want to paint it) |
