We have several databases that are Simple database, we would like to change them to FULL. I would like to know if there would be a problem on changing these database from SIMPLE to FULL? |

You have to consider that the transaction log for a database in full recovery model will grow and grow and grow without issuing regularly scheduled transaction log backups. No, you're never too old to Yak'n'Roll if you're too young to die. |

Thank you for the additional info about trans logs. So are you saying it is not a problem changing those databases from SIMPLE to FULL? |

I am not a dba, but I have done that before many times without any known problems. No, you're never too old to Yak'n'Roll if you're too young to die. |

there's no problem changing recovery models.just remember as fred said, that if you're going to full (or bulk-logged) you need to take transaction log backups |
