| I've been changing non-sa owned databases to standardize and to avoid problems. sp_changedbowner has been working fine to accomplish that until I got the "The dependent aliases were mapped to the new dbo." message. BOL doesn't seem to explain what aliases those might be or what might be the downside of mapping them to sa. And I'm too dumb to figure it out. Can somebody help me out there? If there might be a downside, what should I look for before changing the owner to sa? |
