| I have been trying to set-up a Popular POS system that utilises MS-SQL 2005 as its store. However I have run into some problems connecting to the server from local workstations. I have the browser service running and the tcp/ip and named-pipes both enabled. I am using a db password that is valid and yet my POS app does not connect. Any clues I should be looking for?Best regsIANOh what I'd give for a Microsoft Free World! Gimme Linux any day! |
