This thing has been driving me nuts!I'm exporting to Excel 2007. I've got the empty template that I am copying to my destination location before I export. It doesn't seem to matter how I built my sheets in the file, as soon as I delete my sample data, SSIS starts exporting my numeric data as strings.How do I export my data as numeric data to an empty sheet?Dan |

Hi, ellison.In my opinion, you can have a try of RAQ Report.With it, you can export report to Excel eaily without any difference.An example is shown below:I wish this can be helpful.Good luck. |

have you checked the datatype of columns in metadata of ssis? if they're string can you try converting them explicitly using datatype conversion task. |
