Author  Topic  marcxa Starting Member 2 Posts Posted - 2010-01-12 : 10:12:45 hi all, i have installed sql server 2005 onto my vps running windows server 2003 sp2. when i attempt to access reporting services i get an error message 'Cannot connect to CT17273 unable to connect to the remote server (Microsoft.SQLServer.Management.UI.RSClient) No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it (System)' i have checked the reporting services configuration manager and i have green circles with ticks for everything except encryption keys, email settings and execution account. i am able to connect to all other database services. if anyone has any thoughts on how i can resolve this problem it would be appreciated as i cant seem to find a solution. many thanks in advance for your help marcie
