| Hello all, I have setup a new SQL Server running remotely at a data center. I have set it all up and am trying to connect to it remotely from home via Enterprise Manager. Whenever I try and connect to it, I get a 'timeout expired' error message. FYI, I am running W2k and the firewall is allowing port 1433 traffic AND I have set the login timeout to 0.I thought it would have been the server network config utility but I cannot see anything there that may be preventing me from connecting.Has anyone any clues as to the cause of this?Edited by - dev_spirit on 03/18/2002 13:39:28Edited by - dev_spirit on 03/18/2002 13:40:55 |
