Some posters I believe are working with copy and paste from another editor to do their posts.I hate it when I have to scroll to the right if I want to read such a post.Is it possible to break such a text in more shorter lines?ThxFred No, you're never too old to Yak'n'Roll if you're too young to die. |

Yeah, I've thought about that a fair bit. I'm not sure there's a good solution though short of a forced preview before posting.=================================================Creating tomorrow's legacy systems today. One crisis at a time. |

The problem in that link, would be the CODE tags? They are forcing the width? N 56°04'39.26"E 12°55'05.63" |

Some sites put CODE in a block that gets horizontal scroll bars (and, in some cases, vertical too) [when width exceeds X]I think the width is usually set pitifully narrow ... but that's just Sysop's Choice of course |

This is common on most forum software, and even mediawiki once you say "This Is Code" it just assumes the poster knows what they are doing.I had the same issue a couple of days ago posting some SQL statements here that ended out being a few pages wide, so I had to manually break the lines.David SingletonMicrosoft MVP Dynamics NAV |

Here's quite a nice CSS trick - clips the overly-wide content, but revelas it on mouse-over (but no horizontal scroll bar, so width limited to screen width)http://perishablepress.com/press/2007/01/02/embed-external-content-via-iframe-and-div/ |
