I'm using MS Report Builder 9.00.3042.00 (SQL 2005).I created a report where the users are prompted to filter on a Box ID. It's a character based field up to 13 characters in length. When prompted to enter the Filter, they have the following:Box ID in this list: (no values entered)The user clicks on the link to enter values. Here is the problem: The end user is pasting in 4,598 values. The list doesn't show the values (I assume it's overwhelmed) and the user clicks OK to close the Filter dialog then Run Report to see results. They get an error as follows:An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host----------------------------Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.----------------------------The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive. My question is this: Is there a known limit to the number of filter values that can be entered? |
