I'm new to this company and they have never used their reporting services before. We have SQL Server 2005.

When I try to deploy a report project that I created it comes up with the login box "Server: http://localhost/ReportServer" (literally) asking for a user name and password. I know of no user name or password and have tried every server admin pw we have.

When I open Reporting Services Configuration Manager I get an immediet error on opening "No report servers were found on the specified machine. Details: Invalid Namespace" It can't find a report server on any of my machines even though reporting services is clearly installed.

I googled the problem and have tried reinstalling Reporting Services from the original setup.exe but it won't let me saying that it is already installed. I haven't been able to find much more information other than a lot of setup tutorials.

How can I get my reporting services working? Is there a way to manually create the reporing server that it needs? What am I missing?

Thank you.
