Hi,Is possible that the SYSTEM DATABASES (TEMPDB, MASTER) could be in other drive diferent that c: ?I know that users databases must be in other Partition diferent that OS, but what about the system databases?If so , it's a good pratice ?Regards Pedro |

Trouble is that the MS installer used to default to putting the system databases in c:\program files\...which is pretty unforgivable, and must have lead to many-a-mess |

Hi,In a production environment , if the system databases remain on c:, what is the best way to move them to other Partition drive ?Can we detach system databases like we do users databases ?Pedro |
