Hi,I have created a linked server sqlserver2000. Is it possible to hide this from Enterprise manager?Or is it possible to hide the details of the linked server?the linked server may be visible to my login only.thanks.@Sathiesh |

I doubt because a Sysadmin have higher level of privilege and he can see all the linked server info. |

as long as you've used "login using the users current security context" in the security of the linked server, you have no worries. if you've hard-coded a username and password, it would be a good idea to rethink that. |

if you haven't given them permission on the remote (linked) server then there is nothing to worry about. |
